School fees
North Zealand International School (NIS) is a private school where tuition is paid over 12 months. The tuition fees are set by the school's board of directors.
If a student starts at NGG on the 20th of the month or earlier, the full tuition fee amount is payable. If the student starts on the 21st of the month or later, tuition is paid starting from the following month.
For enrolment with a CPR number in Years 1–11 after 5 September, a surcharge of DKK 4,000 per month will be added to the tuition fee until and including April. This surcharge is charged as compensation for the state subsidy granted to NGG/NIS per child enrolled at the school as of 5 September.
Each year on April 1st, tuition fees are adjusted based on the index regulation calculated by Statistics Denmark. The prices below are effective as of August 1, 2026.

The price includes a meal programme consisting of a morning snack at 10 AM, lunch, and afternoon fruit.

SFO is paid over 11 months. Throughout the year, small additional charges may apply for various events or excursions. For the 2025/2026 school year, the following applies: Svanereden will be closed for summer holidays during weeks 29 and 30.
There is a fee of 250 DKK must be paid for holiday care during week 42 (Autumn Break), week 7 (Winter Break), and 250 DKK for the entire summer holiday (weeks 27+28 and 31+32).
To qualify for the fees above, each child must have an active CPR number (Danish Personal Identification number) and registered with a Danish address before the 5th September. This does not apply to Early Years.
Sibling Discount
The sibling discount applies to tuition fees, Preschool, and After School Care in Svanereden.
- 10% discount for the 2nd child
- 20% discount for the 3rd child
- 30% discount for the 4th child and subsequent children
Admission fee:
You can apply for a place for your child at NIS through OpenApply. Once you have submitted all the relevant documents, you will be asked to pay a registration fee to complete the application.
Withdrawal Notice:
The withdrawal form must be given to the Front Office one full calendar month in advance.
If NGG terminates the collaboration, the tuition fees will cease at the end of the current month.
