NIS Represented at International Curriculum Conference in Bali
In October 2025, Head of School Joakim and Curriculum Leader Pete represented North Zealand International School at the International Curriculum Conference in Bali, bringing together educators from around the world to explore how schools can continue to adapt, thrive, and transform learning for future generations.
The conference provided an opportunity to exchange ideas, share best practices, and engage with colleagues from across the international education community. This school year’s event also celebrated 25 years of the International Primary Curriculum (IPC), highlighting its impact on learners and schools around the world.
A particular highlight for NIS was being named a finalist for Team of the Year at the ICA Teacher Awards – a recognition of the commitment, collaboration, and dedication of the entire NIS team.
During the conference, Pete also delivered a lightning keynote presentation, sharing reflections on curriculum design and describing the curriculum as a living organism that continuously grows and evolves to meet the changing needs of learners.
We are proud to see NIS represented on the international stage and grateful to the International Curriculum Association for bringing together such an inspiring global community of educators.
